Artist's Description
It was a cool late March day and there were no pressing crowds of tourists at the Cinque Terre town of Manarola. We had driven the 64 miles here from our base in Montecatini Terme and then we took the local train that goes from village to village hoping to get some nice golden hour shots as the sun illuminated the brightly painted buildings.
Doug and Marcy Wielfaert are a husband and wife team located in Tennessee near the Great Smoky Mountains. Our home range certainly colors our portfolio, but we love traveling across the country and around the globe to capture scenes like this one.
