The Cades Cove area of the Great Smoky Mountains is perhaps our most-frequented photoshoot location. There are a number of historic structures, including the Methodist Church, seen here from Rich Mountain Road. The views from this road provide a spectacular panorama of the Cove and surrounding mountains. This image was captured on on a misty, cloudy Memorial Day weekend where in the church graveyard, you can see people gathering, perhaps to honor a grandparent who lived in the Cove.
