We left our Tennessee home one dark, cold and rainy February and headed across the Blue Ridge Range looking forward to a photoshoot in Savannah, Georgia. Our first stop was the Savannah Wildlife Refuge, and by the time we arrived by mid-afternoon, the temperatures were in the mid to upper 80s. With the winter sun illuminating the light blue waters of the estuary and the off-season tones of the lily pads, we were able to capture colorful scenes like this one.
