Description
Table Mountain is an iconic flat-topped mountain forming a prominent landmark whose crest is about 3,500 feet above the city of Cape Town in South Africa. The main feature of Table Mountain is the level plateau approximately two miles from side to side, edged by impressive cliffs. The plateau, flanked by Devil's Peak to the east and by Lion's Head to the west, forms a dramatic backdrop to Cape Town. The top of the mountain is a national park where you can follow a number of trails leading to vistas in all directions. You may ascend to the top of Table mountain via hiking trail or via the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway.
Doug and Marcy Wielfaert are a husband and wife team located in Tennessee near the Great Smoky Mountains.
