From reading and watching television and movies, I had this romantic notion of Victoria Falls in the sense that mine was an idealized view of reality. To me, this was one of the most exotic destinations on Earth - The place where the phrase "Dr. Livingston, I presume" came to life, and when uttered aloud, the very name Zambezi River evoked a wanderlust in my young mind. We finally were able to visit Southern Africa recently and I must say that I was not disappointed, notwithstanding political troubles, and the worry of poverty among the wonderful people here.
I desaturated the scene you see here and rendered it in a way to suggest the misty, foggy mood of the long path that leas along the face of Victoria Falls
