Description
In October, the male moose of Grand Teton National Park have shed the velvet from their antlers and can be seen in many areas of the park. This time of year we have good luck seeing them along the main highway between the airport and park headquarters road. These animals are crepuscular, meaning they are most active in the twilight of morning and evening. The sun was setting and we managed to get some good light on this guy's antlers along with some catch light in his eyes.
