Description
The red dirt road is an iconic element of Prince Edward Island, where a number of such roads have been preserved as a part of the scenic heritage. Roads like this one showcase the rolling farmlands, while other heritage roads wind through dense woodlands under a shoulder-to-shoulder canopy of hardwood trees. At the right time of year, openings in the tree canopy reveal clumps of lupines, black-eyed susans and Queen Anne's lace.
Doing business as Marcy’s Photo Journey, Doug and Marcy Wielfaert are a husband and wife team located in Tennessee near the Great Smoky Mountains. Our home range certainly colors our portfolio, but we love traveling across the country and around the globe to capture scenes like this one. We would be honored if you would “like”, “favorite” or comment on this image, doing so helps increase our search engine rankings.
