Artist's Description
The Piazza del Campo is the central square in the town of Siena, Italy. On a Sunday afternoon in late May, storm clouds hang over the city soaking the square with warm rains and scattering tourist and locals alike. The contrast between the eponymous siena colored buildings and the billowing, brooding clouds caught my eye.
Doug and Marcy Wielfaert are a husband and wife team located in Tennessee near the Great Smoky Mountains. Our home range certainly colors our portfolio, but we love traveling across the country and around the globe to capture scenes like this one.
