Rich Mountain Road is open during the summer and fall and provides a one-way alternative exit from Cades Cove. Until recently the presence of undergrowth prevent capturing views like this one, but the Park Service trimmed brush providing opportunities to enjoy seeing the iconic Cades Cove Methodist Church from above.
