Botany Bay Plantation is a 3,363 acre wildlife management area located on Edisto Island, near Charleston, South Carolina. The biosphere here is a maritime forest and coastal scrub characteristic of the Carolina Sea Islands with pines, palmettos and live oaks providing a nesting and foraging habitat for neotropical songbirds including painted buntings and summer tanagers.
